It’s a sold out show at the Forum and we edge our way forward for a good spot. It’s the typical soul review style show tonight with the band coming on stage to set the scene, play a song and then introduce the main man himself.
Bradley takes the stage resplendent in white suit and we’re off on a short set of soul classics drawn for his two most recent albums and the new album released the day after the show.
Referring to his troubled past Bradley is genuinely moved to be there and the young crowd greet him enthusiastically which continues throughout the evening.
A quick costume change and he’s back on stage for part two of the show and Bradly impresses with his great voice and his trademark scream. Set ender is the moving tribute to his deceased mother a cover of Sabbath’s ‘Changes’.
A short but sweet set from a great soul singer finding his voice and audience in his later years backed by an impressive band.
